He chirped and she meowed and twitched her tail, which is no easy feat, she is half Manx and only has a stub of a tail.
Chirp chirp, meow, meow, they carried on quite the conversation.
A wild House Finch, as he is known, has a red head, breast and rump.
The male is a singer, but the relationship has not gotten that far along yet, that he sings to her.
They are still in the talking stages.
Every day he comes to visit at 7 Am. Soon as she hears his voice she is up in the window and wanting the window opened.
This goes on several times a day until 8 at night.
He is unafraid of her movements in the window and just listens to her meow, and then he chirps.
We have dubbed him The Red Headed Stranger.
