The Bald Eagle Size

Posted by Picasa

The Bald Eagle’s eyes and beak turn from brown to yellow during their 4th or 5th year of age.
Bald Eagles are 29 to 42 inches long and weigh 7 to 15 pounds.
The wingspan is from 6 to 8 feet across, making this one of the largest birds in Northern America.
Surprisingly the female is larger than the male.
The life span of a Bald Eagle is about 40 years.
