They will eat small rodents if they are hungry and the opportunity is there.
Bald Eagles have been recorded at 44 miles per hour in level flight.
The diving speed for prey is 75 to 100 miles per hour.
They can fly to an altitude of 10,000 feet.
The Bald Eagle can soar for hours using wind currents and thermal updrafts.
Eagle’s mate for life, nesting in the same tree, year after year.
