MR. SHOWMAN HIMSELF
For decades, Liberace was known for his music, candelabra, diamonds, and dazzle.
Over the years he had such awards as Best dressed Entertainer and Entertainer of the year.
Along with that were 2 Emmy Awards and 6 gold records. Made the Guinness Book of World Records for being the highest paid musician and pianist.
Mr. Showmanship himself.
Liberace’s television debuted in 1952. By 1954 it was carried over 217 American stations and 20 foreign countries.
In 1955 he opened in the Las Vegas Riviera Hotel as the highest paid entertainer in the cities history.
He went from there with more awards and tours.
Liberace’s transported audiences to a dazzling world of color, glitter and music.
Liberace’s ledged lives on in The Liberace Museum that houses his collection of rare antique pianos, classic cars, bejeweled costumes and beautiful furs and rings.
The museum is so large it is divided into two areas. Building one houses the pianos and cars. There is a lot of each. One car is completely covered with tiny mirror squares to name one of the more extreme ones. Building two houses costumes, furs coats, and jewelry collections.
The Liberace Museum is located at 1775 E. Tropicana Ave.
This is something you will want to see the next time you are in Las Vegas.
I could not believe the complete squander of money, but he had it to do as he pleased. It is still very interesting to see how the other half live.

He always cracked me up, even as a kid . But it's obscene that some people have (well in this case, had) so much when so many have basically the air they breathe.
