I could not give this park two thumbs up rating. I think it opened before it was ready. They had no running water or electricity. The inside restrooms and scheduled attractions are not up and running yet.
It will be a great place when it is all going in a few years.
There will be a Tiger Splash where trainer and tigers swim together in a pool.
Reptile Village with all of the big snakes etc.
Casa Macaw with large parrots and various species.
These were all mentioned in the ad but when we got there it was not ready for display yet.
We drove 800 miles to see it and were disappointed that it was not as advertised. Even the ticket price was different with no senior discounts, just $28 per adult.
The park is open year round form 9:30 to 5 on Wed-Sun.
You can decide if the time is right for you to go now or not.

the trip that you took was good and the African Safari was ok if it had of been fully functional. As it was the exhibits and personel did a splended job of showing the animals as much as possible.
