Beware of this Health Care Insurance Scam


Is health care for seniors safe?


Just when you thought it was safe someone is out to get you.


Is there no let up for scams against us seniors?


Warning: This is happening in Salt Lake City, Utah, so you know it must be going on all over the country.


Two people allegedly stole personal information from one of our senior citizens. The two people were posing as health insurance representatives from a company called Wellcare. A senior woman was contacted by phone and an appointment was made to meet with her. When the health insurance representatives came to her home they told her that Medicare was offering free dental, free eye and free hearing programs especially for senior citizens.


Now who could resist a deal like that?


The same people that think "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is"?


With such a tempting offer, they were right there to quickly sign her up. The lady gave them all her information on the company paper work that was offered.


Watch out for the company name of Wellcare. The sad truth is that there is a company by that name misrepresenting us senior citizens.



I know everyday we as seniors are warned not to do anything but scammers make it sound so convincing. So, be careful out there and when in doubt get someone to look the paperwork over with you before you sign it.


It is a matter of life, health and well-being.

    hlove your articles on seniors. i dont travel much or get out often so i rely on blogs and the internet. most blogs you don'tknow if they know what they are saying . you have always come across as honest and being able to back up what you say. thank you and i hope that you had a nice mothers day . the little kitty purred for you???

    in answer to your question. it is
    important to exercise: walk, crawl, swim something for half an hour a day. it doesn't have to be strengous.
    eat low fat and maintain a healthy weight......keep your doctor, denist and eyecare up to date..
