Unique Phenomena

The Oregon Vortex goes back to the day of the Native Americans.  To them it was known as THE FORBIDEN GROUND.
A place to stay away from.
Many years ago it was noted that unusual conditions existed here.
It was not until 1943 that an effort was made regarding a scientific analysis of the disturbance and a solution was achieved.
The Oregon vortex is a spherical field of force, half above the ground and half below the ground; the effected area is a circle.
The vortex essentially a whirlpool of force is the basic form of the universe.  The vortex form recurs throughout our world structures. No where in the circle of vortex do you normally stand erect, inevitably the visitors assumes a posture that inclines towards magnetic north
It is a glimpse of a strange world, where the improbable is the commonplace.
One example: as a person recedes from you towards the south he becomes taller. When he approaches you he becomes shorter.
This is contrary to the laws of perspective. It must be seen to believe.
The House of mystery does not create the phenomenon that occurs here.  It is a ¾ acre area, of vortex, that creates the phenomena.
Don’t be fooled by other imitations of the House of mystery. Here you will be able to immediately perceive its authenticity.
A guided tour explains what you are seeing and they do experiments so you can see the mystery for yourself. It is very interesting and you can experience the feeling of vortex.  It feels like you are going up hill when you are actually on the level. They prove that what you see is not what it is.
It is a must see on your Oregon vacation.
Open 7 days a week from March through October.
Gold Hill, Oregon between Medford and Grants Pass, Oregon
A map will be helpful to find the House of Mystery it is out of the way place.
