National Bison Range
There is a wildlife refuge in Montana that is something that you will want to see.
The National Bison Range is part of the National Wildlife Refuse System.
It was established in 1908, making it one of the oldest refuses in the nation.
This 18,500 acre refuse consists of prairie land, wetland, streams and forest, providing a home for a wide range of animals.
All of these animals that come here to make this land their home are protected and never hunted.
We stayed in Polson, Montana at the RV Park and drove back to the Bison Range.
It is South of Polson on highway 93 about 20 miles, then on highway 212 for about 17 miles in Moiese, Montana
It is an out-of –the –way area but you will be glad you took the time to go there.
The $ 4 entrance fee is a real bargain and you pay for it at the information center.
