Puppy in training

It takes 5 hours to prepare the horses for an appearance. The Clydesdales are shampooed, and brushed until they shine.
Special care is taken to get the feet to feather; they have to be soft and fluffy white.
The mane and tail is braded with colorful ribbons and flowers.
The Champion Clydesdales are then completed with black leather harness trimmed in silver and brass.
The Dalmatian ascot rides atop the wagon. In the ones we seen there was a puppy in training.
