So you bought the new RV, now it is time to insure it. All of the major insurance company’s sell insurance for RV’s.
The important thing to find out is what they cover.
It was our misfortune to find out what we thought we had, was not what we had.
We bought trailer insurance. That is what we have is a travel trailer.
We were 600 miles away from home when the differential went out of the pickup, while we were pulling the trailer. Leaving us stranded, on a weekend. Ever try to find an insurance agent on a weekend?
We had to call a wrecker to take the pickup to the dealer and at our expense.
On Monday we called the insurance company to hear sorry. If you had a wreck we could help but, just a breakdown, you are not covered.
It was an expensive lesson learned. All the expenses were out of pocket and on the spot.
That is why I pass this information on to you.

We have not had to use it.
I am sure there are others that have the RV insurance as well. This is a well known Insurance company.
